Stars hit Ducks for six

The Dallas Stars blunted the Anaheim Ducks' momentum with a 6-2 hammering at the Honda Center.
Matt Beleskey gave the Ducks the lead at 5:14 of the opening period as Anaheim looked to win their seventh in the past eight starts.
However it was not to be as Eric Nystrom, Vernon Fiddler and Jamie Benn all lit the lamp before the end of the first to give the Stars the lead.
After an exchange of strikes in the second, Sheldon Souray and Michael Ryder closed out the win assisted each time by Benn, who played his first regular season game since the middle of January.
Up the road at the Staples Center in Los Angeles the Kings scored on a power play with one second remaining in regulation to edge the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2.
Drew Doughty scored on an assist from Jack Johnson as part of a scramble in front of the net to keep LA within two points of the division leading San Jose Sharks.
The Ducks are 151.00 to win the Western Conference, with the Kings 1.58 and the Sharks 151.00.
