It took overtime, but Long Beach State remained undefeated within the conference with a 77-70 win over UC Riverside.
Casper Ware led the 49ers with 18 points as all five Long Beach starters were in double figures. Orlando Johnson led all scorers with 21 points hitting 8-of-13 from the field including 4-of-8 from 3-point territory. In the fourth Big West game of the night Pacific ran out 10 point winners over their visitors from Cal Poly.
