Thunder outlast Golden State

Monta Ellis hit 48 points for the Golden State Warriors who fell three points short, losing 119-116 to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook led the Thunder once more combining for 64 points on 25-of-48 shooting as both teams shot over 50% on the evening in an entertaining game at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
It was the second straight win for Oklahoma City who hold the NBA’s best record at 20-5 and travel on Thursday to play Sacramento.
The Kings are returning from a visit to the Minnesota Timberwolves where their second half rally fell just short. Down by 12 at the half, the Kings received 22 points from Marcus Thornton, but even with Kevin Love sitting because of a league suspension the Timberwolves came out on top 86-84.
The Milwaukee Bucks also rallied only to lose by two as the Phoenix Suns won 107-105 at the Bradley Center. Marcin Gortat led six Phoenix players in double points and Steve Nash dished out 11 assists to go with his 18 points as the Suns sent the Bucks to their third straight defeat.
In the NBA on Tuesday night the Sacramento Spurs take on the Philadelphia 76ers and can be backed at 1.90 to seal the win in the point spread (+3.5), while the 76ers can be backed at 1.90 in the point spread (-3.5).
