Amare Stoudemire matched his career play-off high of 42 points and 11 rebounds to steer the Phoenix Suns to a 118-109 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers
The win reduces the Laker's lead in the Western Conference finals to 2-1.
Lakers were just two points adrift going into the final quarter but Suns stretched their lead and can now level things up with game four on Tuesday 25th May.
On the Point Spread line, the teams appear difficult to split, with LA +1.0 1.90 and the Suns -1.0 1.90.
Robin Lopez, whose 7-foot presence gave the Suns some much-needed toughness, scored 20 on 8-of-10 shooting in 31 minutes, the most playing time since he returned from a back injury at the start of the series.
Phoenix made 37 of 42 free throws, 14 of 18 by Stoudemire.
For the Lakers, Kobe Bryant shot 36 points, accrued 11 assists and nine rebounds while Pau Gasol scored 23 points.
In the Eastern Conference, Orlando takes on the Boston Celtics tonight, where a defeat will mean Dwight Howard and the rest of the Magic will be eliminated form the play-offs. On the Money Line for tonight's match, the Magic are available at 3.75, with the Celtics 1.28.
