Rangers tie series at 2-2

Derek Holland (1-0) pitched a seven strikeout gem as the Texas Rangers blanked the St Louis Cardinals to even the World Series.
Holland allowed just two hits over 8 1-3 innings while also walking two in a masterful performance before Neftali Feliz came in to record the final two outs of the game.
Mike Napoli struck the big blow for the Rangers, 1.36 to win the World Series, with a three run shot in the sixth inning after Texas had opened the scoring in the first on a Josh Hamilton RBI double to deep right.
Edwin Jackson (0-1) picked up the loss restricting the Cardinals (3.25) to three runs on three hits, but surrendered seven walks over 5 1-3 innings.
Mitchell Boggs relieved Jackson in the sixth and gave up Napoli’s blast that scored Nelson Cruz and David Murphy. All eyes were on Albert Pujols after the St Louis slugger connected for three home runs in Game Three, but the first baseman was 0-for-4 on the evening. Instead Lance Berkman had the Cardinals only hits of the evening.
