Rangers even the series

The Texas Rangers scored twice in the ninth inning to beat the Cardinals 2-1 at Busch Stadium in St Louis.
Three outs away from a two-game deficit in the best-of-seven World Series, Josh Hamilton and Michael Young drove in Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus, each on a sacrifice fly, to even the series at a game apiece.
Mike Adams (1-0) got the win in relief and Neftali Feliz the save after Colby Lewis had gone the first 6 2-3 innings allowing the single St Louis run on four hits and two walks while striking out four.
Allen Craig, for the second consecutive evening, came through with a pinch-hit single to drive in a run after Alexi Ogando had relieved Lewis.
Closer Jason Motte (0-1) conceded singles to Kinsler and Andrus to lead off the ninth to waste a fine effort from Jamie Garcia, who struck out seven over seven innings tossing a three-hitter and surrendering a single walk.
