The Milwaukee Brewers came from two runs down to score four unanswered for a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Randy Wolf (1-0) struck out six over seven innings allowing both runs on six hits and a walk, Francisco Rodriguez pitched an uneventful eighth and John Axford picked up his second save of the National League Championship to ensure that the series will return to Miller Park in Milwaukee.
Nyjer Morgan, Ryan Braun and Jerry Hairston Jr. each had a couple of hits for the Brewers who fell behind early to solo shots from Matt Holliday in the second and Allen Craig in the third.
However Milwaukee tied the game in the fourth on a Prince Fielder leadoff double and one out RBI hits from Hairston Jr. and Yuniesky Betancourt.
Braun would drive in Morgan in the fifth after another leadoff double before Rickie Weeks added an insurance run in the sixth when George Kottaras was safe on a Ryan Theriot error.
The Brewers are 2.11 to win game five in St Louis, with the Cardinals 1.82 to move ahead in the series once again by winning on home turf.
