Andy Murray admitted that he needed to improve his serve after reaching the Australian Open semi-finals by beating Japan's Kei Nishikori 6-3 6-3 6-1.
Murray, who is 6.00 to win his first Grand Slam title in Melbourne, advanced to the last four for the third consecutive year, having gone on to lose in the final in both 2010 and 2011.

My game has been getting better each match and I am moving better and I am going to be fresh going into the weekend.

Waiting for Murray in the semi-finals will be defending champion Novak Djokovic, who saw off David Ferrer in straight sets, with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal facing each other in the other half of the draw.
Federer is 1001.00 to be crowned champion in Australia for a fifth time, with Nadal 2.37 to add to his 2009 title.
Despite Murray's easy passage, the world number four was concerned that he had not served well enough against Nishikori and accepted that he needed to improve to have a chance of taking the title.
"It was tough. I didn't serve well but the returning was good," Murray admitted.
"It was a good match, a lot of fun points, most of them he was winning so I was trying to keep them as short as possible.
"But I need to serve better. My game has been getting better each match and I am moving better and I am going to be fresh going into the weekend."
