Neil Robertson eventually lost 9-7 to Judd Trump.Judd Trump is looking forward to playing in his first UK Championship final after beating 2010 winner Neil Robertson 9-7 in Friday's semi-final.
Trump has been one of the stars of the season and has already earned £250,000 this year, but had to dig deep before eventually seeing off Robertson.
Robertson hit back from 7-5 behind to draw level, before Trump won two frames in succession to claim his place in Sunday's final.

It'd be nice to end the year on a high and win this tournament.

After his narrow success, 22-year-old Trump said: "I think Neil tried to slow it down and make things awkward for me. The game went really slow and nothing happened for about 20 minutes and I was just sitting there falling asleep. He came back to 7-7 and I thought he could win from there.
"In the end I think we were over-trying and that's why we started to miss a few. It'd be nice to end the year on a high and win this tournament."
