Mark Allen pushed Judd Trump all the way in the Final.Judd Trump held his nerve to beat Mark Allen 10-8 in the UK Championship final at York's Barbican Centre despite a late fightback by the Northern Irishman.
The 22-year-old had been in devastating form in the afternoon session and led 8-3 at one stage but Allen hit back with four century breaks to make it 9-8 to Trump.
But just when Allen appeared to be in the ascendancy, he missed a difficult red in the 18th frame, allowing Trump to compile a championship-winning break of 91.

It was the biggest success of Trump's career and wiped away some of the disappointing memories of his 18-15 defeat to John Higgins in the World Championship final earlier in the year.
