Selby slumps to shock Fu defeat

Marco Fu has emerged as a potential winner of the UK Championship after beating world number one Mark Selby 6-3.
Marco Fu was too good for Mark Selby in York.Next up for Fu in the quarter-finals is Mark Allen, who saw off Ali Carter 6-2.
Fu, 1213.00 to win the tournament that is being held in York's Barbican Centre, took an early 2-0 lead only for Selby to peg him back.
Fu held his nerve and compiled an 85 break in frame nine to win the match.
Northern Irishman Allen, 2.62 to win the tournament, never looked back against Carter after putting together a century break in frame three.
He followed it up with breaks of 77 and 67 in frames six and seven as he stormed to an impressive victory.
Elsewhere in the quarter-finals, Stephen Maguire takes on Judd Trump, who knocked Ronnie O'Sullivan out earlier in the tournament, while Ding Junhui plays Neil Robertson and Ricky Walden takes on Shaun Murphy.
