Neil Robertson has emerged as a possible winner of this year's World Championship after beating Shaun Murphy 10-6 in the final of The Masters at Alexandra Palace.
The key to the 29-year-old Australian's victory was a four-frame winning run in the second session which he had entered 5-3 ahead after a tight first session.
After completing his seventh victory in the seven rankings finals he has contested, Robertson said: "I think that a good start was really important. I was quite lucky to be in there at 3-3 and after that I think I played some really good match snooker.
"After the World Championship this is the tournament I really wanted to win. My path to the final definitely hasn't been easy but I've stuck to it, played some really good stuff and I'm over the moon."
