Former world number two Ali Carter admits he may call time on his career after the World Snooker Championship later this year.
Carter has struggled for form of late and is battling Crohn's disease, an inflammatory bowel condition, which have resulted in him considering his future.

I'll see where I am in the rankings, see what position I'm in, see how I am mentally and physically and go from there.

Carter has not won a ranking event since the Shanghai Masters in 2010 and admits he isn't sure if he wants to continue his snooker career beyond the World Championship, which takes place in April and May.
He told BBC Sport: "I'm not really enjoying being a snooker player at the moment at all. That's for many different reasons but I'll wait and see how things are at the end of the season for me."
He added: "My health is a big issue with my Crohn's disease and all the travelling and going abroad all the time makes it even more difficult to control."
Carter, a former Welsh Open winner, reached the World Championship final in 2008 but struggled in 2011 and was dumped out in the first round of both the Australian Open and the Shanghai Masters.
The 32-year-old is yet to reach a decision on his future but admits he may call time on his career after the showpiece event in Sheffield has reached its conclusion in May, with Carter 4.00 to land the top prize.
"I'll see where I am in the rankings, see what position I'm in, see how I am mentally and physically and go from there," explained Carter.
