Stuart Bingham has risen five places to a career high 12th in the world rankings, after producing a dramatic comeback to win his first ranking event.

Now the hard work comes as I have to live up to being a ranking event winner and now I'm the hunted instead of the hunter.

Bingham managed to win the last four frames and defeat two-time world champion Mark Williams 9-8 at the Australian Goldfields Open in Bendigo.
Williams looked to have both hands on the title by capitalising on multiple errors by Bingham in frames ten and eleven and pulled away to an 8-5 lead.
But Bingham found his game from the earlier session and was suddenly pouncing on Williams' errors and, even with a cruel deflection in the deciding frame, Bingham kept a cool head and sank the winning pot.
"This is without doubt the best week of my life - it's just an unbelievable feeling," said Bingham. "I don't care what anyone says. I have this for the rest of my life and no one can take this title away from me."
The man from Essex added: "Now the hard work comes as I have to live up to being a ranking event winner and now I'm the hunted instead of the hunter.
"I've been knocking on the door, but now the door is open and I've walked through it and grabbed the trophy with both hands."
With two targets achieved, the 35-year-old is now looking for more titles and his next opportunity will be at the Shanghai Masters, which less than five weeks away.
Bingham is 1213.00 to be crowned world champion in 2012, with John Higgins 1213.00 to retain his title and Mark Selby 1213.00.
