Wales skipper Sam Warburton believes he and his team mates can meet the expectations of the Welsh public by winning this year's Six Nations.
Sam Warburton was Wales' star man at the World Cup.Warren Gatland's men return to international action after a fantastic World Cup campaign where they finished fourth overall, narrowly missing out on a place in the final.
Wales' fantastic form in New Zealand has lead to them being priced at 1.004 to win the Six Nations this year, with France starting the tournament at 1213.00.
Having done so well at the World Cup Gatland has decided to stick with the same formula that suited the Dragons so well last year, taking them back to Poland for a training camp before the Six Nations begin next weekend.
Warburton, who was appointed captain before the World Cup, admits there will be more pressure on Wales to do well at the Six Nations this year given how they performed in New Zealand but says the team are capable of matching it.
"I was walking past the Millennium Stadium the other day and noticed the French game was sold out," said Warburton.
"That's the last game of the tournament so to me that means people are anticipating that could be a Championship game.
"I think that's the expectation from the fans and we expect that as well and we'll put that pressure among ourselves."
Wales have been dealt a blow in the build-up to their first game with the news Gethin Jenkins will miss five weeks with a knee injury, while Rhys Priestland and Dan Lydiate are also likely to miss the game with Ireland on February 5.
The Welsh are 2.80 to repeat their World Cup quarter-final win over Ireland, with the home side 1.50 and the tie 23.00.
