Lee Briers is expected to be involved against the London Broncos this weekend.Warrington coach Tony Smith has confirmed star stand-off Lee Briers will return for the Wolves' home tie against the London Broncos this weekend.
Briers was dropped for Warrington's season opener at Hull for what Smith referred to as "a breach of protocol".
Warrington were held to a 20-20 draw by Hull, with Stefan Ratchford filling in for Briers at stand-off, and Smith has confirmed Briers will return for the Broncos' visit.
"It was a breach of protocol in terms of preparation," Smith told the MEN. "That's as far as we want to go. You can speculate on the rest.
"But he's handled it in the right manner. He made a mistake, a judgement error in the way he prepares for matches and he put his hand up. We all make mistakes.
"He'll go into the mix for selection this week. Whether he gets back in has got to be determined on how the rest of the team performed.
"He's certainly not been suspended for this week as well."
Warrinton are 1.90 to secure a win over London Broncos with a -20.5 handicap, while the Broncos can be backed at 1.80 to emerge victorious with a +20.5 handicap.

Briers could well return to the starting line-up this weekend as Warrington's kicking was below-par at the KC Stadium, while winger Joel Monaghan is also in line to feature after missing the opening fixture with a knee problem. If Briers does return the versatile Ratchford may still be included in the starting line-up as the former Salford man can also play in the halves or at centre.
