Robinson hoping for stronger start

Catalans Dragons coach Trent Robinson is keen for his side to make a strong start to the 2012 season, after struggling to get off the mark last term.
In Robinson's first season in charge, the Dragons lost five of their first seven Super League matches.
But once the team gathered some momentum they proved difficult to beat, finishing sixth and advancing to the second round of the play-offs before being eliminated.
They begin their campaign in 2012 with a visit to Bradford on 4th February, and the clash is followed by consecutive home fixtures against Hull FC and Castleford.

It would be difficult for us to start this season worse than we did the last one, to be honest.

The Dragons are 226.00 to win the Challenge Cup this year and 15.00 to claim the Grand Final. They can also be backed at 13.00 to finish at the top of the regular season standings.
It's a run which head coach Robinson believes will present his side with a great chance of making a strong start to the new season.
"It would be difficult for us to start this season worse than we did the last one, to be honest. We're in a much better position now than we were this time last year though and I'm confident that we can hit the ground running," said Robinson, who distanced himself recently from the vacant coaching position with the French national side.
"Our matches against Bradford last year were both close encounters and I'm expecting it to be just as tight this year. I think they've recruited well during the close season and they'll be challenging for a spot in the top eight for sure.
"But naturally we're keen to focus on ourselves, and we won't go into any match worrying too much about what other teams have done or what people are expecting them to do. If we perform to our capabilities each week then we've nothing to fear."
