Karl Pryce faces a race against time ahead of Saturday's clash between Bradford Bulls and Catalans Dragons as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Pryce didn't play in last week's pre-season defeat to Hull FC, but says he is match-fit and would jump at the chance to make his second debut for the club this weekend, having recently rejoined following spells with Wigan and Harlequins.
"I'm hoping I can maybe play on Saturday. My hamstring isn't 100 per cent at the moment and it might be a bit of a race against time, but it's the first game of the season and I'm very eager to get out there," said Pryce, whose brother Leon plays for Catalans.
"I guess you could says it's a bit of an added incentive. I've come against Leon a couple of times over the years and I think we have one win each. It's always exciting to play against someone you know well and I don't think either of us will hold back if we meet again."

Pryce says he is loving life back at his home-town club, adding that he is desperate to finally fulfill his potential and help guide the Bulls to success in 2012.
"I'm very happy to be back at Bradford and it hasn't taken me long to settle back in. I've lived in the area all my life and it does feel like I'm back among old friends. But there hasn't been much time for reminiscing, we're all very keen for success here."
They can be backed at 176.00 to win the Grand Final this season and 2501.00 to claim the Challenge Cup. They are also available at 81.00 to finish at the top of the regular season standings this year.
