Theology still in Leger contention

Theology is likely to go straight for the Ladbrokes St Leger despite being defeated at Goodwood.
Connections of the Jeremy Noseda-trained three-year-old feel the Galileo colt did not show his best form in July, and believe he could be a better horse come the world's oldest Classic at Doncaster in September.
Theology was runner-up in the Queen's Vase on his previous start and finished sixth behind his stable companion Rebel Soldier in the Gordon Stakes.

"He ran a bit free. It was too short a trip for him - a mile and a half - and he was a little bit gassy," said Harry Herbert, racing manager to owners Highclere Thoroughbred Racing.
"Nonetheless he ran perfectly respectably. He's better than that, though. If he hadn't have run too free he certainly would have finished closer.
"The plan is to go for the St Leger and probably run him next in the Leger to give him more time.
"He's developing all the time. He's very much next year's Cup horse but the Leger, Doncaster and the trip will suit him."
Theology is currently 34.00 for the big race on 11th September.
