Top Irish jockey Dave Casey has his fingers crossed that he gets the ride on Willie Mullins' On His Own when the Grand National comes around in April.
Having ridden the horse to an outstanding success at Leopardstown last time he reckons it has every chance in the Aintree spectacular.

On His Own gave me the same sort of feeling and just kept on galloping so the rise in the handicap was very much to be expected.

Currently priced at 15.00 to win the Grand National, On His Own oozed class when winning 14 lengths around Gowran Park last time - subsequently rising 18lbs with the Irish handicapper.
That doesn't surprise Casey who already has a Grand National success under his belt having ridden Hedge Hunter to success eight years ago.
He said: "On His Own gave me the same sort of feeling and just kept on galloping so the rise in the handicap was very much to be expected.
"Willie's yard is on fire at the moment but that was a particularly fine win and it would be lovely to think I may get the leg up for the National but it's a long way away and there's a lot of water to flow under the bridge yet."
On His Own is in the ownership of Graham Wylie who has switched many of his horses to the Mullins yard and is enjoying a brilliant season as a result.
Backstage is 1000.00 to win the Grand National while Some Target can be backed at 1000.00 and Weird Al at 51.00.
