Senna plays down Williams talk
January 08, 2012 11:46:49 UK
Bruno Senna insists he is still looking to secure a race seat for the 2012 season despite reports that the Brazilian has agreed a deal with Williams.
Williams have only confirmed one driver for the new season - Pastor Maldonado - with Senna, Adrian Sutil and Rubens Barrichello all rumoured to be partnering him.
Williams are looking to bounce back after enduring a dreadful 2011 and are still searching for a new title sponsor after their contract with AT & T, worth around £4.5million, expired.

Despite some rumours, my situation remains the same as before.
Bruno Senna
The 28-year-old Senna raced for Hispania in 2010 and Lotus towards the end of last season. He failed to pick up a point in 2010, with a 14th place in Korea being his best finish.
He secured two points in 2011 thanks to a ninth-place finish in Italy.
"Despite some rumours, my situation remains the same as before," said Senna on his Facebook page. "In other words, I am still not confirmed with any team so I'm still battling for a place in F1."
Williams picked up only five points in 2011, compared with 69 the year earlier, when Rubens Barrichello was Maldonado's partner.
Williams are 81.00 to win the constructors' title in 2012, while McLaren can be backed at 1.83, Ferrari at 26.00 and Red Bull at 2.75.
