Ferrari and Felipe Massa are eager to improve on last season's results in 2012.Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has echoed the words of team-mate Fernando Alsono by insisting he is focused on improving on results in 2012.
Massa, who came agonisingly close to landing the Drivers' Championship in 2008, could not muster a single podium finish in 2011.
Alonso consistently outscored his team-mate but didn't come close to landing the title last season as Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel dominated.
Red Bull also secured the Constructors' Championship, with McLaren second as Ferrari finished a distant third.
However, Ferrari expect a better campaign in 2012 and believe their new car will be able to compete with the Red Bulls, and Massa is keen to impress.
The Brazilian is out of contract at the end of the season and the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel has all been tentatively linked with Ferrari, but Massa is eager to secure a new deal and continue with the Scuderia.
He told Sky Sports: "The most important thing is to have a competitive car. So by having that you are in a position to win many races, to fight for the championship.
"And then everything is clean, everything is back to how it was before so you don't have this pressure - this negative pressure that I'm having now.
"I'm strong mentally. I'm sure we're going to go back to how it was before and we're going to go back to the victories."
Massa is priced at 8889.00 to land the drivers' title, while Alonso can be backed at 4.50.
Ferrari are 26.00 to take the constructors' honours, reigning champions Red Bull are 2.75 to defend their crown.
