Alonso: Hamilton edges Vettel

Ferrari ace Fernando Alonso believes that McLaren's Lewis Hamilton is a more complete driver than Sebastian Vettel, who has dominated Formula 1 over the last two seasons.
Vettel is the two-time defending champion in F1, having swept all before him in 2011, winning the drivers' title by a massive 122-point margin in his imperious Red Bull car.

I know he is a two-time world champion, but he is still slightly below the level of Lewis.

The German won 11 of the 19 races on the F1 calendar last year and finished off the podium just twice during an almost perfect season.
However, Alonso, himself a double world champion, thinks that Hamilton has the edge in terms of speed and outright ability.
He told Bild: "Lewis is so fast, aggressive, totally focused. He is interested only in victory, Sebastian has not quite reached that level.
"I know he is a two-time world champion, but he is still slightly below the level of Lewis."
Hamilton finished down in fifth place in the drivers' standings last season, winning three races in a campaign blighted by a number of incidents involving Ferrari's Felipe Massa.
Hamilton, the 2008 world champion, is 3.75 to take the crown again in 2012, with Vettel 3.75 and Alonso 4.50.
