Villarreal make vow to Manchester City

Villarreal have sent Manchester City a reassuring message they will not 'go through the motions' in their final Champions League group game against Napoli.
Bruno Soriano has promised Manchester City that Villarreal aim to defeat Napoli. The Spanish side have yet to earn a single point and will need to take a point or better to prevent the Italians from qualifying ahead of Roberto Mancini's team.
Even then, City must play their own part by beating German giants Bayern Munich - which they are 1.53 to do - at the Etihad Stadium, to complete a last-ditch Houdini-like escape.
The fear in Manchester is that Villarreal, who are 4.00 to beat Napoli, will not bother turning-up, although they do have some making up to do to their own supporters after losing to bottom club Racing Santander last weekend.

And midfielder Bruno Soriano has dismissed any notion of handing the tie to Napoli.
He said: "We want to win this game against Napoli and give joy to our fans, as it has been going very badly for us this year.
"If we can win against Napoli it will boost our morale for future. They are a good team but we can prove that we are also."
City skipper Vincent Kompany is also happy to derive any signs of encouragement, insisting: "They are a good home side. It has been a difficult group not just for ourselves but for every team.
"And any team coming to our stadium is not going to be favourite - I don't care who they are."
Mancini should be boosted by having a near full strength squad available for the game with Edin Dzeko set to start the match. Samir Nasri could make way for the Bosnian hitman.
