Ranieri vows to 'wake up' Inter

Serie A giants Inter Milan have confirmed Claudio Ranieri as the club's new head coach until the end of the 2013 season.
The former Chelsea manager replaces Gian Piero Gasperini, who was sacked on Wednesday after a disastrous start to the season for the Italian giants - Inter sit 18th in the Serie A table with a solitary point from three games.

They take on Bologna at the weekend before travelling to Moscow to take on CSKA in the Champions League next week.
Inter are 7.00 to come away from Bologna with a 1-0 win, while a 2-1 victory for the home side is at 13.00. A goalless draw is 9.00.

"Inter are a great team," Ranieri told Rai TV.
"They have had a bad start to the season and I will have to talk to the team to understand why that was.
"I will have to bring enthusiasm and a change of gear in order to wake up the team.
"I cannot promise that we will win this or that but I believe this team has a lot to give and we must prove it."
The appointment marks Ranieri's return to football after resigning from Roma in February after suffering four straight defeats, while he has also had spells at Valencia, Parma and Juventus since leaving Chelsea in 2004.
