Inter, who are 9.00 to win the match 1-0, are currently languishing in 16th spot in Serie A, but Ranieri remains upbeat, saying: "It's going to be a normal game like any other.
"The game against Juventus is worth three important points but nothing else. Just because it's my former club does not mean this encounter changes something from an emotional standpoint."
Inter have only won two of their first eight games of the domestic campaign and had to settle for a point from a 1-1 draw at Atalanta on Wednesday.
"We will play this game without thinking about the standings," added Ranieri. "I am convinced that, late in the season, we will be high up in the table and fighting for the Scudetto, regardless of this weekend's results."
Juve are 1.00 to win the Serie A title this term while Inter can be backed at 1213.00 and AC Milan at 3.25. Juve are the only unbeaten side in the league and are top of the table after beating Fiorentina 2-1 on Tuesday.
