AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is close to signing a new contract that will keep him at the San Siro until the end of the 2013-14 campaign.
The 44-year-old, who guided the Rossoneri to their first Scudetto since 2004 in his first year in charge, currently has a contract that expires at the end of this season.
However, he is set to be offered a new two-year deal that will keep him in Milan until June 2014.

There is no problem. We just have to wait a little bit, talk and lay everything out.

"(AC Milan vice-president Adriano) Galliani said that I'll stay until 2014 and I explained to both him and (Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi) that my aim is to remain here," said former Cagliari coach Allegri.
"From my part, there is no problem and I never considered the situation to be any different. We just have to wait a little bit, talk and lay everything out.
"It's true that you never know what can happen until you sign but I reiterate this is not a problem."
Milan are currently second in Serie A and are 3.25 to win title once again this season. Leaders Juventus are 1.00 to stay at the top of the table until the end of the season.
Allegri's side visit Genoa on Friday night and are 13.00 to win the match 3-0. A 1-1 draw is available at 6.50.
