Celtic head into Wednesday's Old Firm in fine form, but Ally McCoist is confident Rangers will secure the bragging rights.Rangers boss Ally McCoist is adamant his side will bounce back from defeat at St Mirren ahead of Wednesday's Old Firm derby at Celtic Park.
Rangers suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at St Mirren Park but McCoist doesn’t think that loss will have an effect on his players for the crucial clash with fierce rivals Celtic, the Ibrox side are 4.00 to take all three points.
"I can assure you we will be ready for the game, I can guarantee you that," said McCoist.
"It's going to be tough but we'll be ready. The players won't need lifted because it's a big, big game."
McCoist will be without Dorin Goian, who was sent off after picking up two yellow cards at St Mirren, and Lee McCulloch, who was shown a straight red card in the same fixture.
However, Rangers are set to appeal McCulloch’s red card so there is a chance he could face Celtic.
Celtic are 2.00 to secure the win, and the draw can be backed at 3.20.

Rangers had held a 15 point lead at the start of November but that lead has now been reduced to just one point, but McCoist doesn’t think Celtic’s momentum and current form will have any impact on Wednesday’s derby.
"The truth of the matter is I would rather be a point ahead than a point behind," added the Rangers boss. "Of that there is no doubt.
"Celtic are on a good run of form at the moment in terms of victories, but it counts for absolutely nothing."
