Gary Hooper hopes he has shown Celtic manager Neil Lennon that he is worthy of a regular starting place after scoring in the 1-0 win at Dundee United.
Gary Hooper grabbed the winner at Tannadice. The 23-year-old former Scunthorpe United and Southend United striker started last week's Europa League clash against Atletico Madrid on the substitute's bench but was pleased to show Lennon what he could do at Tannadice.
He said: "It was disappointing not to start on Wednesday. But the gaffer wanted to change the midfield against a very good team and it was good for me to come back and score against Dundee United.
"That's what my game is all about. I just want to score every time I go out. The main thing is a good performance and three points but to get the winning goal is always nice."
