Bobby Zamora has made the move from Fulham to west London rivals QPR on deadline day.
Bobby Zamora will be reunited with former Fulham boss Mark Hughes. The veteran frontman has been reunited with former Craven Cottage chief Mark Hughes, who replaced Neil Warnock as R's boss earlier in the season.
Hughes is delighted to have sealed a deal for the 31-year-old hitman and expects Zamora to make an impact at Loftus Road.
He said: "Bobby is a guy that makes things happen on the pitch - be it scoring goals or creating chances for others.
"He's a great foil for any team. We needed a player of his ilk at the football club and I couldn't be more delighted."
QPR have splashed out £4million to capture Zamora, who has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Hoops.
QPR have been quite prolific in the transfer market this month but it is unlikely that many of their new arrivals will be ready to face Aston Villa on Wednesday evening. QPR are 4.20 to take all three points from Villa Park, with the home side 1.90 to record a win. The draw can be backed at 3.40.
