Midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has impressed since joining Swansea on loan.Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers is confident that recent signing Gylfi Sigurdsson will be a key figure, as his side seek to banish any lingering relegation fears.
Loanee Sigurdsson was on the scoresheet in Saturday's 2-1 win at West Brom which lifted the Swans ten points clear of the drop zone and up into the top half of the Premier League table.

A delighted Rodgers said after the victory at The Hawthorns: "I felt we needed an offensive midfielder for the second half of the season and he fits the bill perfectly for that.
"He is one I've always kept in contact with and I just felt this would be a terrific signing and he has fitted in perfectly."
Rodgers worked with the Icelander during his time at reading and brought Sigurdsson back to English football after he had struggled to make his mark with German side Hoffenheim.
Meanwhile, Rodgers was also happy to see his side win for the second time in three away league games, with the Swans having previously failed to register a victory in nine matches on their travels.
He added: "We are a little club fighting to earn respect at this level through our game.
"We know we needed to improve our away record and we've had a couple of good results."
