Peterborough have confirmed the return of Darren Ferguson as their new manager just over a year after he left the club.
Ferguson, 38, has replaced Gary Johnson as boss at London Road where he enjoyed back-to-back promotions before leaving the club by mutual consent in November 2009.

I asked him to come to the game last night and he has signed for four-and-a-half years. Let's make the magic happen again.

Johnson left the League One club on Monday night after disagreements with chairman Darragh MacAnthony and Posh have decided to re-appoint Ferguson, who they will hope can repeat the success he enjoyed in his previous spell.
Ferguson was dismissed from his post as Preston manager just after Christmas but will have the chance to take Peterborough up for a third time after signing a four-and-a-half year contract.
They moved up to fifth in the League One table with a 2-1 win over Brentford last night.
Peterborough can be backed at 1.90 to be promoted to the npower Championship this season.
Chairman MacAnthony said: "I asked him to come to the game last night and he has signed for four-and-a-half years. Let's make the magic happen again.
"I haven't enjoyed owning the football club over the last 18 months or so and I hope this can change that.
"We have both realised that the grass isn't always greener."
Ferguson's first game back in charge will be against league-leaders Brighton at the Withdean Stadium on Saturday. Full Time Result betting has Brighton available at 1.66, with Posh 5.00 and the draw 3.80.
