Allen appointed Notts County manager

Martin Allen has left Barnet after just three games in charge to take the reins at Notts County on a one-year rolling contract.
Allen joined The Bees less than a month ago, in which time they took seven points from a possible nine in League Two, but he was working without a contract and has taken on a new challenge at League One strugglers County.
The 45-year-old becomes County's eighth manager in 18 months.
Allen replaces Paul Ince who left the club eight days ago. County have lost seven games in a row and now sit in the League One relegation zone, and Allen is fully aware of the size of the task ahead.

We'll see if we can put a team together, get the buzz back into Notts County and get some results.

"Barnet are now set up to not get relegated," he told Sky Sports News.
"I've got to look after myself and my family and I've got bills to pay.
"County have just lost their last seven games so obviously it isn't going too well and something needs to happen. It's a tough ask.
"We'll see if we can put a team together, get the buzz back into Notts County and get some results."
Allen doesn't have long to prepare the team as they next take on Yeovil in a kick-off on Tuesday evening and are 3.50 to win the game. Yeovil are at 2.10 and the draw is at 3.30.
