Manchester City hope to catch Liverpool in two minds at Anfield in the second leg of their Carling Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening.
Adam Johnson believes that Manchester City can reach the Carling Cup final. The Reds hold a 1-0 advantage from the first leg at the Etihad Stadium and Blues winger Adam Johnson believes that Liverpool may be unsure whether to attack, or defend their narrow advantage.
He said ahead of the Merseyside showdown: "It's a tricky one for them. Do they try to attack us or try to defend against our quality players for 90 minutes?
"The thing is no matter who we play, we will create chances at some point. We beat them 3-0 at home, so we can score against them.
"No-one is expecting us to go through, so the pressure is off for once and we can go there with freedom, play our football and have a go. It won't be easy, but we are quietly confident."
City are 3.20 to overturn the deficit and reach the Wembley final, while they are 13.00 to win by a 2-0 scoreline and 51.00 to go on and lift the trophy.

It won't be easy but we are quietly confident.

The Citizens go into the game shorn of the services of Yaya and Kolo Toure due to Africa Cup of Nations duty, while skipper Vincent Kompany serves the final game of a four-match suspension.
Striker Mario Balotelli is also likely to be missing as he is poised to begin a four-match ban for violent conduct, unless City opt to appeal against his punishment for a stamp on Spurs' Scott Parker.
