Dalglish expects 'really difficult' test

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is expecting a 'really difficult' evening when his side take on Manchester City in the second leg of their Carling Cup semi-final at Anfield.
A Steven Gerrard penalty gave the Reds a 1-0 win in the first leg at the Etihad Stadium, but Dalglish is wary of reading too much into that narrow advantage.

It's not going to be a game that's going to be anything other than really difficult for us.

Liverpool are 1.36 to reach the final and 2.50 to win on the night at Anfield, while the Reds are 1.11 to go on and win the Wembley final.
"We have a slight advantage, we just need to go into the game and compete," Dalglish told his club's official website. "It's not going to be a game that's going to be anything other than really difficult for us.
"They got a fantastic result on Sunday against Tottenham which keeps them at the top of the league, so I'm sure they'll be well up for it.
"Let's not be running away with ourselves, let's make sure we get the hard work done first."
Dalglish has much to ponder ahead of Wednesday night's showdown, with his side putting on a poor performance in their 3-1 weekend loss at Bolton Wanderers.
Midfielder Jay Spearing may be back in contention after a hamstring strain, while England winger Stewart Downing is pushing for a start after being left on the bench against the Trotters.
