Victor Valdes in action for Barcelona.Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes is eager to continue picking up silverware with the Catalan giants.
The Spanish champions secured the Club World Cup last Sunday after seeing off Brazilian outfit Santos in the final, but Valdes has his sights set on more honours.
Barcelona are 1213.00 to secure Champions League glory this season and 34.00 to retain their La Liga crown, with Valdes in confident mood.
"We have shown that we want to win a lot of titles. When we lift a trophy, we do it as if it was our first. We want to win more," Valdes told the club's official website.
"The Club World Cup is a title that’s really important to us. We all must respect this title a bit more, because it’s difficult to win it."
The talented custodian is in no doubt as to who is the catalyst for Barcelona’s unmitigated success in recent years.
Since taking charge at Camp Nou in 2008 boss Pep Guardiola has picked up three La Liga titles, two Champions League crowns, one Copa del Rey title as well as seven other trophies, securing an astonishing 13 titles across four campaigns.
Valdes has heaped the praise on Guardiola, who he describes as a "maestro".
"Day in and day out, he’s a maestro," added Valdes.
"Each training session is like going to class at university. He never allows you to relax. He taught me how to enjoy the game and to play team football."
