Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema believes his side have improved considerably this season as they bid to wrestle the league title from Barcelona.
Karim Benzema is enjoying a successful spell up front for Madrid.Jose Mourinho's side have won their last five games in a row, scoring 20 goals in the process, and moving ahead of Barca in the table. Madrid are 1.005 to win La Liga while Barcelona are 34.00. Valencia are available at 1213.00.
Benzema notched up his sixth goal in six home games in the 3-0 midweek win over Villarreal and is happy with life at the Bernabeu after recovering from a groin strain earlier this month.
"I do not know if we are better than Barcelona - but we are working on it," the French international told Marca.
"I think we are playing better as a team and the idea is to continue in this line."

The important thing is we get goals and the team wins.

Benzema is competing with Gonzalo Higuain for one place up front in the Madrid side but is content to continue fighting for a starting spot.
"The important thing is we get goals and the team wins," he insisted.
"We can be together in the team - we have played together - but this is a coach's decision, not mine.
"Jose Mourinho is the one who decides, who knows what is best for the team."
