Arsenal's Russian forward Andrey Arshavin has dismissed rumours linking him with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Russian ace Andrey Arshavin remains committed to Arsenal. The 30-year-old has been with the Gunners since January 2009, but has struggled to find the form which made him such a big star in his homeland with Zenit St Petersburg.
However, Arshavin is adamant that his immediate future lies in north London, with his love of Barcelona ruling out any possible switch to the Santiago Bernabeu.
He told the Evening Standard: "They are things invented on the internet. More than one time I have said that this season I will play in Arsenal colours.
"I would not play for Real Madrid for all the money in the world. For me, Real is a complete taboo because I'm an admirer of Barcelona."
Arshavin has scored 28 goals in 108 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, including the winner in a 2-1 victory over Barca in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League meeting last season.
