Hitzfeld does not understand Capello pressure

Switzerland coach Ottmar Hitzfeld does not understand why Fabio Capello has had so much pressure put on him.
Both coaches will go head to head at St Jakob Park tomorrow as England look to continue their impressive start by following up the win over Bulgaria by beating Switzerland in a Euro 2012 qualifier.
England can be backed at 2.10 to get the win with Switzerland priced at 3.75 and the draw 3.10.
Hitzfeld said that Capello had simply suffered bad luck when losing in the World Cup to Germany and he does not think Capello did much wrong.
"I cannot understand the severe criticism Fabio Capello has had to cope with," said Hitzfeld.
"It all came after that match against Germany.
"But if that second English goal had been allowed, as it should have been, it would have been 2-2 at half-time and they would have had a massive psychological advantage.
"After that, they needed to commit themselves to a more attacking style and got caught on the counter-attack.
"That defeat was bad luck, not bad coaching, so I just do not understand all the criticism."
Hitzfeld also thinks England have got better since the World Cup and now are better at both defensive and offensive play.
"England have always been strong offensively but they seem to have learned from the World Cup when they were the victims of those counter-attacks.
"On Friday it looked as though they were able to switch from defence to attack very quickly."
