West Ham United grabbed what Sam Allardyce called a gritty win at the weekend before once again finding his style of football under attack.
Many Hammers fans remain deeply unhappy with the fare on offer at Upton Park this season despite seeing their team close to within a point of top spot.

Their manager Keith Hill is a close pal of Allardyce's but took a sideswipe at the tactics that had put paid to his team, declaring: "We were foraging for a point, but I won't go to direct, percentage football. It's killing English football and I won't resort to it."

Harsh words, but many Hammers fans would claim they are justified after a series of unconvincing performances from their favourites raise questions about the strength of this season's Championship competition.
West Ham are 1.50 to win promotion this season while Southampton can be backed at 1.083 to go up, Middlesbrough at 1213.00 and Reading at 1.001.
Allardyce meanwhile was sent to the stands after a challenge on Daniel Potts, who was making his debut given the massive Hammers injury list.
He said: "I haven't been in trouble for 10 or 12 years now, but if I am in trouble I want to know what they are going to do about those decisions. Fortunately they didn't cost us today."
