Grayson hoping to strengthen

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has revealed he will be active in the January transfer window as he eyes a promotion challenge in the New Year.
Leeds occupy the last Championship play-off spot going into the weekend's home game against Reading and are currently 1213.00 to be promoted. They can be backed at 11.00 to defeat Reading 2-0 and are 3.00 to keep a clean sheet at Elland Road.

Hopefully, we can go and get what we need to improve the team and the squad.

Grayson needs reinforcements in midfield after losing midfielder Jonny Howson to injury for around three months while the future of on-loan Wolves striker Andy Keogh is unclear.
"It is an option for us that will be dictated by what Wolves want to do and what we can do at this end," Grayson told the Yorkshire Post.
"Andy has been very good since he got here with his work-rate and enthusiasm having been exceptional.
"But there are many other circumstances that dictate whether someone can come, such as it being Wolves' decision as to whether they want to sell permanently and whether we and other clubs can afford him."
Grayson confirmed he has discussed transfer targets with chairman Ken Bates and will be looking to do some business next month.
He added: "Hopefully, we can go and get what we need to improve the team and the squad."
