Voller added the club can only aim to finish second in the league, as they did last season.
"We are on a par with teams like Werder Bremen or Wolfsburg, to name but a few, and we now have to measure up to them, and we can do that."
Manager Robin Dutt acknowledged his team were soundly beaten but was pleased they had shown signs of improvement from last week's humiliating 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Cologne.
He said: "Bayern were clearly the better team, but at least my team stood up for themselves.
"We are not the first to lose here."
