Werder Bremen playmaker Marko Marin says he would leave Germany if he opts to exit his current club, but says that he is happy to stay put for the time being.
Midfielder Marko Marin is content at Werder Bremen for the time being. The 22-year-old has been linked with several Premier League clubs, but Marin is in no hurry to exit the Weserstadion, as he hopes to help Werder return to European competition next term.
Marin confirmed: "Werder Bremen is a top club in Germany and I am under contract with Werder Bremen. Therefore I would just consider top clubs from outside Germany.
"But I am actually focused on Werder Bremen and I do not plan to move on. We want to get back to Europe this season via success in the Bundesliga, this is of utmost importance for me."
Werder are currently second in the Bundesliga standings behind Bayern Munich, with the Bremen club 1213.00 to win the German title for the first time since 2004.
Meanwhile, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has praised Germany national team goalkeeper Manuel Neuer for the way he has settled in at the Allianz Arena since his summer arrival from Schalke.

I am actually focused on Werder Bremen and I do not plan to move on.

Neuer has conceded just one goal in eight league games this term, leaving Rummenigge to tell the club's official website: "Obviously it's wonderful he's only conceded one goal after eight Bundesliga matches, which speaks volumes for his quality as a goalkeeper.
"He doesn't have 20 shots to save in the course of a match, it's only two or three, but you have to be totally focused to make those two or three saves."
Bayern lead the way in the Bundesliga by three points after eight rounds of matches and the Bavarian giants are 101.00 to go on and clinch the title, while they are 1.40 to win the Champions League.
