Borussia Dortmund head coach Jurgen Klopp is delighted to still have striker Lucas Barrios at his club, as they seek to retain their Bundesliga title this season.
The 27-year-old Paraguay international was heavily linked with a move to England before the transfer window slammed shut, having made just one league start so far this season.

There was no attempt made on our part to sell him and personally I am very pleased with his decision.

However, Klopp is adamant that Barrios has a big part to play in the coming months, with Dortmund level on points at the top of the table with Bayern Munich and Schalke.
"There was no attempt made on our part to sell him and personally I am very pleased with his decision," Klopp said.
"We were very open about it all and could understand that a player of his quality considered a move given the situation, but no deal was ever done, either with Lucas or with us."
Barrios has been knocked down the pecking order at Dortmund by the outstanding form of Robert Lewandowksi, who has scored 14 goals in 19 league appearances this term.
Next up for Dortmund is a trip to Nurnberg on Friday evening, with Klopp's men 1.57 to take all three points, with the draw 4.00, while Borussia are 1.001 to win a second consecutive Bundesliga title.
