Ballack set to leave Leverkusen

Veteran midfielder Michael Ballack has dropped a strong hint that he will leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season, but may carry on playing elsewhere.
Michael Ballack is poised to move on at the end of the season.The 35-year-old former Germany captain is currently in his second spell with Leverkusen, having returned to the club in the summer of 2010 after leaving Chelsea.
However, Ballack appears to have decided to move on again next summer, telling Sky TV: "That is my gut feeling at the moment. I don't have too many thoughts of extending my contract.
"Right now, I feel this will be my last season for Leverkusen.
"There are many options and one can play football in many countries, including Germany. We will just have to wait and see. Sometimes interesting options crop up when you least expect them.
"Football often springs great surprises, so why should that not be the case next summer? I will just take it as it comes."
Leverkusen are 1213.00 to win the Bundesliga title this season, with Bayern Munich 101.00 and defending champions Borussia Dortmund 1.001.

Ballack has also admitted at being disappointed that his international career was cut short two caps short of the century mark.
He added: "I would have preferred a different ending to my international career - above all a fair end.
"What hurt me the most was people saying I do not have the quality and that I can no longer stand out in the current game."
