Prior signs new Sussex deal

England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has agreed a new two-year deal with Sussex which will keep him with the county until the end of the 2013 season.
Matt Prior has proved himself among the world's best. The 29-year-old made his first-class debut in 2001 and has made 7,130 runs in 131 matches for Sussex, including 18 centuries.
Sussex can be backed at 11.00 to win the Division 1 County Championship in 2012 while Surrey are at 11.00 and Somerset are 7.50.
"It's a great honour to sign another contract for Sussex. I've been at the club as a professional for eleven years now and it is very close to my heart," Prior told Sussex's official website.
"The support over the years from the fans and members alike has been very special, and the players and management are always striving for more success which I can hopefully be a big part of."

Prior also has a central contract with the England & Wales Cricket Board and has 47 England Test appearances, averaging 44.71 runs.
Sussex cricket manager Mark Robinson added: "To have the best wicketkeeper-batsman in the world committed to us for the next two years is fantastic for the club.
"Matt brings a wealth of experience and desire for himself and those around him to succeed."
