Manny Pacquiao is keen to silence Juan Manuel Marquez in their third meeting.Manny Pacquiao insists that he will secure the victory over Juan Manuel Marquez on Saturday night and end any questions over their previous two bouts.
The pair first met in 2004, in a contest that ended in a draw, before Pacquiao secured a narrow split decision victory over the Mexican in 2008. Both contests were extremely close affairs, and the draw on Saturday night is priced at 31.00.
Marquez has always maintained he deserved to win both fights, and Pacquiao is now ready to show his class and secure a convincing victory over the veteran counter-puncher to end any debate over their enthralling rivalry.
"He kept on saying he got robbed in the first two fights. This fight will answer all the doubts and all the questions," the Filipino told a press conference in Las Vegas.
"I thought this issue had been settled in our second fight, but some people, including Marquez himself, doubted the outcome.
"Much as I believed that this third fight is unnecessary, still I obliged to erase all doubts that, instead of him, I was the one who emerged triumphant in both fights."
Pacquiao is 1.10 to win the showdown by any method, or 1.53 to win by KO or TKO.
